We’re Dana and Tom, the real people behind Ena & Tomasito.
Dana is from Venezuela and has been teaching Spanish to children since 2017. She loves art, languages, and the magic that happens when a child learns without even realizing it. Her biggest joy as a teacher is seeing kids laugh, move, create, and understand that learning can feel like play.
Tom is the “Tomasito” of the project, an engineer, bike-loving and football-obsessed problem-solver who enjoys building things and finding ways to make the world better. His calm energy, curiosity, and creativity help shape the stories, designs, and adventures behind the scenes.
We now live in the UK with our baby Luna, two cats called Chi and Lily, and two guinea pigs: a small, happy, chaotic family.
Ena & Tomasito was born from a simple idea: learning is more powerful when families are involved. We want parents and children to learn together, laugh together, and feel connected through creativity and imagination.
In a world that is becoming more digital, we also believe in the importance of hands-on learning — cutting, colouring, building, and using real materials. That’s why many of our activities encourage children to use their hands, not just a screen.
